The Heart Behind GIANTS

Meet the Visionary

This camp was not built from a distance. It was built by someone who has sat with teenagers, walked through communities, and seen firsthand what happens when young people are given a safe space to grow.

Rev. Faith Kamau, Founder of GIANTS Community
Founder & Visionary
Rev. Faith Kamau
GIANTS Community

Rev. Faith Kamau is a pastor, mentor, and community builder with a deep conviction that this generation is not lost; it is simply waiting to be found.

In 2024, following a devastating fire crisis in Embakasi that displaced families and children, Faith responded not with pity but with action. What began as emergency relief quickly revealed a deeper need: young people without direction, without mentors, and without a community that believed in their future. GIANTS Community was born from that moment.

Since then, GIANTS has run structured holiday programs that have reached over 600 young people across three terms, providing mentorship, leadership training, spiritual grounding, and life skills to teenagers who would otherwise have gone without.

Rev. Faith Kamau also serves as an Assistant Pastor, bringing both pastoral care and practical wisdom to every program she leads. GIANTS Teen August Camp 2026 is the next step in that journey: a residential, intensive experience designed to form the giants of tomorrow.

"I believe God is raising a generation of young people who will not just survive their world; they will transform it. That is why this camp exists."REV. FAITH KAMAU
A Movement, Not an Experiment

GIANTS Teen August Camp 2026 is our inaugural residential camp, intentionally designed, carefully planned, and built on two years of community mentorship that has already impacted over 600 young people. This is not an experiment. This is a movement taking its next step.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is accommodation provided?

Yes. GIANTS Teen Camp is fully residential. All campers will be accommodated at Captain James Camp in Naivasha for all 4 days and 3 nights. Boys and girls are housed in separate, supervised quarters.

Are meals included?

Yes. All meals are included in the camp fee — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and light refreshments throughout the day. There are no additional food costs during camp.

Is the camp supervised?

Yes, fully. Your teenager will be under the care and supervision of responsible adults throughout the entire camp, from arrival to departure. Security will also be present on-site at all times.

What if my teenager has medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements?

We take this seriously. Two qualified nurses will be on-site for the full duration of camp. During registration, you will be asked to provide full details of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs. Teens who require personal medication should bring it clearly labelled and declared on their medical form. Our team will be informed and prepared.

Are phones allowed?

Yes. Phones are permitted at camp, including for our AI Awareness sessions where devices will be used as learning tools. However, campers are fully responsible for the safety of their own devices. While security will be present, GIANTS Community cannot be held liable for lost, stolen, or damaged phones. Campers are advised to keep their devices secure at all times.

Can campers bring laptops?

Laptops are not required and are not recommended. A phone is sufficient for all tech-related sessions. If a camper wishes to bring a laptop, they do so entirely at their own risk.

What should campers bring?
